Jane's Alien Artefacts was a book of which the Doctor kept a copy in the TARDIS library. He held at least the revised edition.
One of the first things the Eighth Doctor asked Izzy Sinclair to do upon entering the TARDIS for the first time was to find his copy of the work. With it he hoped to identify an object in Izzy's possession called "the Focus". (COMIC: Endgame)
