Jasmine wanted to escape a situation when the Eighth Doctor arrived. She told him about something that murdered her entire species. She was a scientist who created The Network but was nervous around him. She was accused of all the murders the Network committed. She realised what the authorities wanted to do with her invention and helped it escape. The Doctor realised that she was the imprisoned, as she was used as a scapegoat for a set of terrorist attacks for habouring the Network. The Doctor took her to the Shadow Proclamation to help stop people from arriving on Orriv. (AUDIO: Echoes of Extinction)
