Jay was a shop assistant in Cardiff. He listened to Tyler Steele and Norton Folgate, who had switched bodies, having sex in the changing rooms and threatened to call the police, but Norton - who nicknamed him "Lovely Jay" - invited him to have sex with him instead.
The two remained in contact, with Jay sending Norton vegetable emojis, and they agreed to hook up at a man's house where Norton was. Norton proposed to Jay, who found the question intense and strange.
