Jay Roy
Jay Roy was a friend of Petronella Osgood.

Jay studied at King Henry's University and befriended Petronella Osgood and Jeff and went on an "awful date" with Tess in his third year. After graduating, Jay did not see Osgood very often and believed that she was working in government IT.
Osgood joined Jay and Jeff at a pub quiz and, afterwards, Jay suggested that she join him for dinner at some point. Following the disappearances of Jeff and Tess, he was afraid that he would be targeted next and spent nights in clubs instead of going home. He met with Osgood to discuss the disappearances and, for his protection and to make use of his intelligence, he was offered the position of Osgood's assistant at UNIT.
Jay met with Osgood at her flat and was amazed by the holographic thought projector that she had there. When the Tengobushi attacked, Jay sacrificed his life to save Osgood and Josh Carter by detonating a plasma grenade. (AUDIO: Power Cell)
