In the early 2000s, the Jersey Tollgate Situation was an operation that resulted in the deaths of Major C Jones and her colleagues from the New York branch of UNIT. After Jones' death, Major A Highway, Jones' former friend, took her job at the UNIT New York Liaison Office, and Major Highway both promised to reorganise UNIT in America and expressed his sadness over Jones' death in a press briefing filed by Staff Sergeant A.
