Joanie Carrington

Joanie Carrington was a resident of New York City. In high school, she dated Stirling, who came to work in the City Museum whilst she, by the early 1970s, became deputy mayor of New York City.
She worked with the Planning Council, namely Cardinal Ollistra and the Monk, to redevelop the city, unaware that they were Time Lords and believing that the Weeping Angels' killings were committed by the Sharpshooter. Joanie met with the Sharpshooter to end the killings and the two saved Liv Chenka and Helen Sinclair from the Angels, in the course of which Joanie was grabbed by one. She told Veklin to let her die and to protect her city, her voice later being used by an Angel. (AUDIO: The Side of the Angels)
