John Kenneth Merrison was the grandfather of David Merrison and his siblings and the father of David's dad. He travelled with Augustus Glavin on the HMS Rochester, collecting fossils. Decades later, an alien abducted three of his grandchildren while trying to acquire a skull that Merrison had found during his travels. (PROSE: But Once a Year)
