Johnny Dragotta

Johnny Dragotta was the head of the criminal Dragotta Family in Las Vegas. He worked from a penthouse office in the Sands Hotel and Casino, which the family used as a front for their illegal activities. He was strong-minded and ruthless, and had no concerns about ordering the death of anyone who crossed him.

In 1962 the Kronos Family established themselves in Las Vegas, and began a hostile takeover of the Dragotta's various criminal enterprises. In 1963, after one of the Kronos Family members infiltrated Johnny's office in an attempt to assassinate him, Johnny declared war on the rival gang.

Johnny was later arrested by the FBI, along with the rest of the Dragotta Family, on the evidence collected against him by Sonny Lawson. (COMIC: Gangland)
