Professor Joshua Sutton was a scientist on an alternate Earth in 2003.
When the the Doctor's TARDIS was brought to his laboratory, he was frustrated because he could not open it. The Oracle sent him a device which could cut into it, causing the time machine to scream for help in the Eighth Doctor's mind. (PROSE: The Domino Effect)
