Kalem

Kalem was the uncle of Mihal and the brother of Loran.
Kalem killed King Loran of Zalezna in an attempt to make himself king. His nephew Mihal and Mihal's tutor Lycon fled from Kalem into the nearby woods but were caught by Kalem's soldiers. The Eighth Doctor defended the children, using his sonic screwdriver to disarm Kalem's soldiers. Kalem stood trial for his crimes and Mihal was made king instead. (PROSE: From Little Acorns)
