Kando was a Dulcian and a student of Educator Balan. She was a part of an academic field trip Balan was leading to an island that had been used for atomic testing. While there, she encountered the Second Doctor, Jamie and Zoe.
She, Teel, Zoe, and Balan were forced by the Dominators to clear rubble from a drilling area. They were rescued by Jamie and Cully. (TV: The Dominators)
