Kernow was a scientist and a member of a blue-skinned alien race. Selby and himself were the two male crewmembers on a quest to understand the primitive festival of Christmas that they had heard of. They were trapped in the village of Stillmuir when it was shrunk and transported aboard their ship. Unharmed, he experienced Christmas first-hand as a guest of Heather McCrimmon's grandmother, along with her two other companions. (COMIC: A Merry Little Christmas)
