The owner of the Kharitite whom the Eleventh Doctor and Alice Obiefune encountered in London in 2014 was a child of a squid-like species.
When its best friend disappeared, it missed its pet very much. Using the tag it put on the Kharitite, the Doctor found it and brought it to Earth in his TARDIS. When the child emerged from the TARDIS, the UNIT troops assembled to eliminate the Kharitite almost shot the child, thinking he either had taken over the TARDIS or was a new horrible regeneration of the Doctor. The Doctor cleared the misunderstanding and took the child with its pet back into the TARDIS. (COMIC: After Life)
