The Kreliban were a species from Krelibas, a planet within the Mutter's Spiral. They had once been well established through the galaxy as a highly military species. (AUDIO: The First Sontarans)
By 1872, the Kreliban had become slaves of the Rutan Host and their planet was part of the Rutan Empire. It was in this year that the Kaveetch male Meredid Roath, under the human guise of Jacob Gilly, had planned to contact the Kreliban to obtain an advantage over the Sontarans.
