Kya was a human from the colony Dephys 49. For tax reasons she chose to dwell in the Time Vortex for a year in a specially constructed hotel. She was looking forward to seeing her children when the year was up.
However, the controls of the hotel had been sabotaged, leading to the time winds leaking into the hotel. The inhabitants of the hotel unknowingly repeated events from their time in the hotel, waiting for the end of their self-imposed exile. (PROSE: Vortex of Fear)
