Laser-Accelerated Spectroview

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

The Laser-Accelerated Spectroview, (COMIC: Power Play) also called the Laser-Accelerated Spectro-View (PROSE: Earth in Peril!) and the laser-accelerated Spectroview, (PROSE: Zodiac's Rescue Bid!) was used by TV Century 21 to acquire pictures and reports about the adventures of Fireball XL5 and its crew for publication in their magazine.

Following the development of a technical fault in TV21's Neutroni Radar Satellite in early 2065, the Laser-Accelerated Spectroview was adopted as an alternative means of relaying news stories regarding Fireball. Soon afterwards it was reported over the Spectroview that Space Station M5 had launched an emergency rescue ship in an attempt to save Steve Zodiac, Professor Matic and Doctor Venus, who were at that moment stranded in space with only their dwindling supply of oxygen pills keeping them alive. As noted on the front page of TV21 on 27 March 2065, the Laser-Accelerated Spectroview provided a full report on the "imminent space attack" which had been detected by Professor Logan of Jodrell Bank. (PROSE: Earth in Peril!) Later, as mentioned on the front page of TV21's 24 April edition, the Spectroview gave a colour report on Steve Zodiac's efforts to release the dangerous Omega-Minus device from the space liner W.S.W.193 before it entered Earth's atmosphere.
