Lilya Grankin was a member of the Soviet Air Force. Her plane was shot down and the Second Doctor and friends looked after her. She fainted after realising that Polly Wright looked like her compatriot Tatiana Kregki. Ben Jackson helped her fix a plane. She was also the cook on the base. She eventually disobeyed Nadia Vasney, thinking her commands were wrong. She killed Nadia. (AUDIO: The Night Witches)
