Ludovic Comfort was the deputy director of Huhlbrook Sanatorium until Dr Black's death. Like the rest of the people there, he liked to play games, to the point that he tried to prove that blind man's buff couldn't be played by one person. He was one of the first people to see the Celestial Toymaker in the cupboard in his office. He suggested a talent show to distract the patients from the Toymaker. After the Toymaker restored some of his powers and got them to play games for their lives, Ludo attacked him and thereby voided his chance of living.
