Count Ludwig Kroner was the alias of a leading Player. He had the form of a man in his sixties with a high forehead and grey eyes. He encountered the Sixth Doctor while attempting to arrange for Edward VIII to take the throne. The plan was thwarted and resulted in the Count's death when the Countess shot him by accident during a struggle. (PROSE: Players)
