Macrotransmission of a K-filter wavelength was a mechanism that the DoctorDonna used from the Crucible's control console during the Dalek invasion of Earth. This mechanism had the result of making a self-replicating energy blindfold matrix which was able to block the Dalek weaponry. (TV: Journey's End)
