Maddox was an agent of the Great Houses during the War in Heaven.
Circa the Armistice, Maddox had been tracking members of Faction Paradox for several years with his partner Hedeth. They followed Faction artron energy to Dust (PROSE: War During Peacetime) shortly before the Nambiro summoning ritual (PROSE: The End of the Beginning) and became caught in local politics. Maddox was killed by a mob of Dust villagers. (PROSE: War During Peacetime)
