Maisie Thompson's mother met the Eleventh Doctor on Christmas Eve when he slipped into their house to find a Lengo that found its way to Earth from its home planet.
Initially appalled at the Doctor barging into her home and threatening to call the police, she ultimately found herself lost for words when the tiny alien creature he was looking for appeared in her daughters room. After he sent the Lengo home through a wormhole, in shock, she ushured the Doctor out of the house, shortly before discovering that the Lengo had stolen some Christmas presents she had hid on top of her wardrobe. Unbeknownst to her, Maisie immediately went with the Doctor to the Lengo's home planet to retrieve the presents.
Thirty-four years later, she gained two grandchildren when her daughter married. (PROSE: The Gift)
