Marat (organisation)

The Marat were a force on Agrovan Seven who were at war with the Strykes. They could be identified by their wider mouths, larger black eyes and thinner faces, and for their green armour.

The Marat had been at war with the Strykes for fifteen hundred years and both were evenly matched. Eventually, a Time Lord was able to smuggle a bioweapon to the Stykes, leading to an epidemic amongst the Marat. When the Seventh Doctor and Ace came to the planet, a Marat soldier helped them escape from the Strykes. They were then brought to a Marat hospital, where the Doctor brought out a Gallifryan restorative which could stop the epidemic. (COMIC: The Forgotten)
