On 9 March, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1968 - Episode three of Fury from the Deep was recorded at Lime Grove Studios D. (TCH 12)
- 1970 - Jon Pertwee signed on for another twenty-five episodes after Inferno.
- 1981 - Christopher H. Bidmead was commissioned to write an outline for TV: Castrovalva, the replacement to the recently cancelled Project Zeta Sigma.
- 1983 - Location filming for The Five Doctors took place. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Fifth Doctor)
- 2006 - Recording for Murray Gold's The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit orchestral score was completed at Air Studios. (DWMSE 14)
- 2009 - Big Finish's audio adaptation of the unproduced TV story The Nightmare Fair was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2019 - The second series of Big Finish's audio series The Lives of Captain Jack was recorded at the Soundhouse.
- 2020 - Big Finish's audio anthology The Eighth Doctor: Time War: Volume Four was recorded at the Moat Studios.
