Widow Margaret was an elderly Khamirae.
She told off Cora for going outside while the red moons were out, and believed that Cora's father Gideon was "as good as in 'is box" when he went to the Thane's castle. When the Doctor destroyed the Thane's neuropathic generator, Widow Margaret transformed into a beast and attacked the keep. She climbed the pylon of the Thane's distress beacon, chasing after the Tenth Doctor while he repaired it. She killed Viktor while Viktor was protecting the Doctor. When the generator was reactivated, Widow Margaret returned to human form. The Thane decided to spend the remainder of his life letting the Khamirae villagers come to terms with who they truly were.
