Marinka Talanov

Marinka Talanov was a 20th century Russian cosmonaut. She was taken by aliens while on a mission orbiting the Moon in 1963. She was to be the first person to see the dark side of the moon. Laika was given the ability to speak with Talanov's voice by the aliens and Marinka was killed in the process. (AUDIO: 1963: The Space Race)
