History[[edit] | [edit source]]

Just before Christmas 2004, Thomas Vaughan was in a souk in Marrakech, haggling with a shopkeeper over a carpet. The Ninth Doctor appeared, said something to the shopkeeper in Arabic, and left. In March 2005, Thomas wrote about his encounter with the Doctor on the conspiracy website Doctor Who?. (PROSE: Have You Seen This Man? [+]Loading...["Have You Seen This Man? (short story)"])

In the 2010s, as Marrakesh was one of Earth's prominent cities, it was among the cities where forces of flying Cybermen emerged led by Missy. Taking to the skies, they created a cloud of cyber-pollen above the city. These pollen clouds then rained upon the graves, converting the dead of the Earth into a new Cyberman army. When the recently-converted Danny Pink gained control of this army, he ordered all Cybermen to return to the skies and self-destruct, taking the pollen clouds with them in their combined explosions.
