Mason Burns
Mason Burns was an explorer, scoundrel and archaeologist who aided the Tenth Doctor in his quest to find the resting place of the old kings of Skarab on the planet Skarab.
Mason was searching for the final resting place of the old Kings of Skarab on the planet Skarab when he saved the Doctor from being attacked by a purple ape. He allowed the Doctor to join him on his search and they quickly found the tombs. However, they became caught up in a battle between the kings, scorpions and gorillas and were briefly imprisoned. After the Doctor found a way to send the kings back into their tombs and stopped the battle, Mason, shaken by the violence he had witnessed, decided not to tell anyone about the outcome of his investigation, as he wanted Skarab to remain peaceful.
