Max was a reader of the website Who is Doctor Who?.

On 26 March 2005, (PROSE: The Doctor Was Involved in the Dummy Massacre, Operation Mannequin) Max was at a coffee stall outside Bond Street station. When the dummies began to open fire, Max hid behind the counter of the stall. (PROSE: Dummy Massacre)
Shortly after, Max's story was shared on the conspiracy website Who is Doctor Who?. (PROSE: Dummy Massacre)

Although similar in nature to the user-created characters in Dummy Massacre, Max was included in the main text of the story and therefore was created by the BBC webteam.
