Merryweather was a pupil at Hulton College in 1914. He was also a captain, which was a title for boys with special responsibilities at the school. He participated in the attempted murder of Timothy Dean. Dean only survived because his body had been altered by exposure to the Seventh Doctor's biodata. (PROSE: Human Nature)
