Mexican Civil War
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
The Mexican Civil War was a civil war fought in Mexico in the early 20th century.
On 20 November 1910, soldiers were abducted by the War Lords as part of the War Chief's plot to weaponise the human race. (PROSE: Time Traveller's Diary) The Mexican civil war was one of the multiple Earth conflicts from which the War Lords took combatants for their War Games. It was given its own zone, with Arturo Villar being one of the combatants in the Mexican Civil War Zone in the War Games.
The survivors of the Games were later returned to Earth by the Time Lords, after the War Lords were defeated. (TV: The War Games)
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- While the term "Mexican Civil War" has been used for three separate conflicts in Mexico's history, Arturo Villar's name, personality, and background are adapted from Pancho Villa, who was active in the 1910–1920 Mexican Revolution.
