Miaki was a "flying bat-mouse creature" and one of Kady Williams's earliest companion as host of the Gestalt, helping her when she was just started out. Kady blamed herself for Miaki's eventual death and kept a portrait of Miaki in the control room of her timeship. (PROSE: Ring Theory)
