Michael Praed (born 1 April 1960[1]) played John Ladiver in the Big Finish Productions audio adaptation of the stage play The Curse of the Daleks, and Professor Slyde in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio story The Dark Flame.

Praed is best known for his long and active stage career in the West End, and for his acting roles in Robin of Sherwood, Dynasty and The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne, as well as his most recent role as con-artist-turned-sweet-packer Frank Clayton in Emmerdale.
