Mighty Moth (series)
Mighty Moth is a comic strip published in TV Comic, created by Dick Millington, and became one of the magazine's longest-running strips. Unlike other comic strips published in the magazine, it was an original series, rather than one based upon a pre-existing television series (e.g. Doctor Who, Roobarb, Basil Brush, etc.).
The series stars the titular Mighty Moth, a moth who constantly annoyed a human referred to only as "Dad".

The series had some crossovers with the Doctor Who universe within the pages of TV Comic's various annuals.
The first of these occurred within the game TV Comic's Counter Game, published within the TV Comic Holiday Special 1968. The game featured elements of the various series featured in the annual, including both Doctor Who and Mighty Moth. Early in the game, the Diddymen (the main characters of the game, from Diddymen) may stop to help "Dad" chase Mighty Moth. Shortly after in the game, they may stop to listen to Dr. Who playing his recorder.
The following year, in the TV Comic Holiday Special 1969, the game Basil Brush goes Rent Collecting was released, which had a similar conceit. Early in the game, it is possible for Mighty Moth to eat the cloak of Basil Brush (the main character of the game, from Basil Brush), sending him back a few spaces with Basil shouting "My cloak!". Later in the board, he may encounter "Tardis", requiring him to travel a few spaces back along the board.
Finally, in 1970, the TV Comic Holiday Special 1970 was released, featuring the game TV Terrors Autograph Hunt which, again, had a similar conceit. Just after starting the game, one or more of the TV Terrors (the main characters of the game, from TV Terrors) can end up having their autograph book(s) eaten by Mighty Moth. Much later in the game, they may receive Dr. Who's autograph.
