Mindlink

A mindlink was a small device worn on a person's forehead which allowed them to read data discs by downloading the information stored on them directly into their brains. The mindlinks at the University of Rago Rago 56 Rago also allowed users to upload books to the library's network, or take a virtual tour of the facilities.

In 5,000,000,000, these mindlinks became infected by the Macrobes, who attempted to control the students by transferring from the digital space into their minds. Before they could cause too much damage, the Tenth Doctor and Kriz flooded the brains of the infected students with the most boring books they could find. This sent the students to sleep, forcing the Macrobes back into the university's computer network. (COMIC: The Macrobe Menace)
