A miner was a Peladonian trisilicate mine worker.

Biography

When Gebek said that the spirit of Aggedor would not kill them, the miner did not believe him, saying Aggedor had killed them.

When the Third Doctor made "Aggedor" appear to them and not slay them, the miner and the other mine workers started to believe him. He then took part in the raid on the citadel, but was killed in an Ice Warrior ambush. (TV: The Monster of Peladon)

Behind the scenes

• Max Faulkner clearly plays the miner who is killed in the ambush, but is later shot and killed again by Eckersley. Subsequent to this, he can be seen alive in the throne room when Gebek informs the Doctor that Thalira has been kidnapped.
