When she was young, Ace took Misha to a youth club dance, wearing one of her dad's old suit jackets. The two got called queer, a memory which remained painful for Ace. She involuntarily thought back to it when Colum Devlin called her a "queer fish", though he actually meant it as a compliment and there was no homophobic connotation in his mind.
