Mnemmen

Mnemmens were the native inhabitants of the planet Ganda Mnemma.

Their thought processes were significantly different from those of humans, which made automatic translation devices unreliable where they were concerned. Terran xenobiologists believed that Mnemmens had evolved from something resembling a land-dwelling cartilaginous fish; consequently, they had blue-grey skin, small dark eyes that were set widel apart, and lip-less mouths lined with small, sharp teeth. They had little to no facial expressions, making their mood hard to read for humans. Their body language was also different from humans; for example, gnashing one's teeth was the Mnemmen equivalent of a shrug.

Mnemmens spoke ResMnemmeni, a language which it was possible for humans to learn and speak. (PROSE: Golden Age)
