Mondaran was a planet inhabited by humans. Mondaran City was one of the major settlements.
The planet was conquered by the Cybermen as its minerals were vital for them. Several months later, the Cyberman Kroton was sent to Mondaran to deal with the rebels. Instead, he developed emotions and helped the rebels fight and escape to a safe area of the planet. (COMIC: Throwback: The Soul of a Cyberman)
