Monopoly is a series of board games which began with the original Monopoly. It has gone on to gain various alternate versions, such as Monopoly: Cheater's Edition, video game adaptations, various licensed collaborations with different series to produce games such as Monopoly: Dungeons & Dragons and Ben 10 Junior Edition, and some spinoffs, such as Advance to Boardwalk.

The first game was originally released in 1935, with Charles Darrow often being credited as its creator, though the concept was based upon The Landlord's Game, designed by Lizzie Magie. It has been published by various companies, including Hasbro and USAopoly.

Collaborations[[edit] | [edit source]]

Some official collaborations between the Monopoly brand and Doctor Who have been created, and were both published by USAopoly.

The first of these collaborations came in the form of Monopoly: Doctor Who Collector's Edition, which featured various unique character tokens and landmarks. The second was Monopoly: Doctor Who Villains Edition, which featured a different collection of tokens and landmarks.
