Morell
Morell was an Alzarian and father of Adric.

Morell (PROSE: A Boy's Tale) was the husband of Talisa and father of Adric and Varsh. According to most accounts, he and Talisa died in a forest fire when Varsh and Adric were four and one respectively. (PROSE: Full Circle; AUDIO: The Invasion of E-Space, A Full Life)
According to one account, Morell and Talisa died much later. They recognised Adric's mathematical abilities when he was young and were, Adric thought, probably ashamed after Varsh dropped out and became an Outler. They died in a farming accident just after Adric turned twelve. Adric began to think more about his parents after the destruction of Traken, especially his mother. (PROSE: A Boy's Tale)

In a backstory for Adric developed by Andrew Smith, Adric discovered that Draith was behind his parents' deaths.[1]
