Mrs Woods was the mother of Courtney Woods and wife of Mr Woods.
Apparently, headmaster Frank Armitage had had a number of "discussions" with Courtney and her parents over the last couple of terms before Clara Oswald taught her. (PROSE: Normality)
She and her husband talked to Danny Pink at Coal Hill School's parents' evening about their daughter's behaviour. When Danny described Courtney as a "disruptive influence", Mr Woods pointed out that the previous year, the previous teacher had described her as a "very disruptive influence".
