Nancy Lee, known as Gypsy Nancy Lee for professional purposes due to not actually being Romany, was a theatrical performer known for making predictions. On 11 August in 1887, seemingly predicted George Nevil and Mary Elizabeth Reilly's demise in a snowstorm three days later. After this storm, Henry Gordon Jago hired her for the Palace Theatre.
