Ian and Susan came across a pouch of night scented stock seeds from Norwich when they were miniaturised on Earth. According to the back of the pouch, night scented stock was a hardy annual plant of some kind. (TV: "Planet of Giants")

The first episode of Planet of Giants gives few details about this plant. The original British audience wouldn't have needed an explanation, though — night scented stock is a popular type of flower in Britain. It also grows throughout North America.
