The Nith were a species who dedicated their whole lives to understanding how the universe worked. In their quest, they encountered the Great Shifting Wurm, who offered them knowledge. The creature tricked the Nith, and slaughtered their species. Only Olk remained, who kept the Wurm trapped in the WonderBox 3000. The disappearance of the Nith came to be known as one of the "great universal mysteries." (PROSE: Wurm Noir)
