The Nixxine Horde were a "swarm [and] pestilence" from the Realm of Dusk.

Their only need was to feed and reproduce, and spread throughout the Realm of Dusk to the point where it became overpopulated. Needing to grow further, the Horde expanded into the Realm of Light, where it was opposed by its inhabitants. (PROSE: The Man from Yesterday)

The Nixxine looked like scorpions, with spines like crowns on their heads. They were eight feet tall and had red eyes. (PROSE: The Man from Yesterday)
