Nola was an Atlantean merchant, who sold carpets.

Nola was previously employed by Ara's father before Professor Zaroff arrived, and forced into selling carpets in the market place of Atlantis for a living. (PROSE: The Underwater Menace)
She was a friend of Ara, and helped her hide Polly Wright from Zaroff's guards. (TV: The Underwater Menace)
