On 14 November, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1966 - Location filming for The Highlanders at Frensham Ponds in Surrey began. (DWM 292)
- 1968 - Pre-filming for The Krotons concluded at Ealing Studios Stage 3A/B. (TCH 13)
- 1969 - Location filming for Doctor Who and the Silurians took place. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Third Doctor)
- 1973 - Location filming for Death to the Daleks took place. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Third Doctor)
- 1977 - Location/OB filming for The Invasion of Time took place. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Fourth Doctor)
- 1995 - Writer Matthew Jacobs handed in his fourth script for the 1996 TV movie after coming to certain agreements and compromises with the BBC. The story begins with the Doctor bringing the Old Master's remains back to Gallifrey after he had been executed by the Daleks. This is now when the Master escapes in his new slimy form, and the Doctor is now shot down by a gang. In this version of the script, Chang Lee now allies with the Master out of greed. The idea of the Doctor needing a beryllium atomic clock was also introduced in this draft. Jacob's last draft, pretty much what was used in production, was finally submitted on 29 December.
- 1999 - The Big Finish audio story The Genocide Machine was recorded.
- 2001 - The Big Finish audio story Excelis Rising was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2002 - Big Finish's audio adaptation of the incomplete story Shada was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2005
- Music written by Murray Gold for The Christmas Invasion, including an extended version of his first incarnation of the Doctor Who theme, was recorded in a six-hour session with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales conducted by Ben Foster at Studio 1 of the BBC in Cardiff. (DWMSE 14)
- The Big Finish audio story Something Inside was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2012 - Big Finish's audio adaptation of the unproduced TV story The Mega was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2013
- The Big Finish audio story Iterations of I was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- Big Finish announced that Tom Baker, Lalla Ward and John Leeson had recorded three stories for the Novel Adaptations range.
- 2014 - Big Finish's The New Adventures of Bernice Summerfield audio anthology The Triumph of Sutekh was recorded.
- 2017
- Big Finish's Torchwood audio story Believe was recorded.
- The Big Finish audio story The Lure of the Nomad was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2019
- The seventh series of Big Finish's audio series The Diary of River Song was recorded.
- Big Finish's audio anthology The Third Doctor Adventures: Volume Six was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2020 - Doctor Who: Lockdown! hosted a tweetalong of Turn Left.
- 2022 - Big Finish's audio anthology The Return of Jo Jones was recorded at the Soundhouse.
