Obasi Lethbridge-Stewart, also known as Baz, was the son of Mariama. He was the brother of Kadiatu S. Lethbridge-Stewart and grandson of Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart.

By the 1990s he was in touch with his grandfather, and by 2004 he was known to his British family, even spending one Christmas with them. He was a major in the Sierra Leone Army. (PROSE: Downtime: Child of the New World [+]Loading...["Downtime: Child of the New World (novel)"])

One account implies Obasi visited his grandfather in retirement in Switzerland in the early 21st century. The old man no longer recognised him. Obasi helped his "baba" die with dignity, riding a stallion away from the dacha.
