Odysseus Scott

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Dr Odysseus Scott was a 43rd century physicist and father of Ida Scott.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Odysseus did not have a close relationship with his daughter, Ida, and was disappointed upon learning that she had a penchant for petty theft whilst she was at antiquities school. He was dismissive of his wife's belief in the Neoclassic Congregational faith and she left him. Ida, who became a scientist like her father, also kept her distance from him, although he did hear about her work on the failed Walker Expedition.

Suffering from Axobar's syndrome, Odysseus travelled to the Spire on Faber, which he learnt of from his new assistant, Thomas Good. He hoped to be cured by forming the Resilient from colleagues also suffering from terminal illnesses, who sacrificed their individuality willingly, but Ida unexpectedly visited the Spire and discovered what was happening. She saved Odysseus and an Ood by taking them offworld before the planet ceased to exist due to gravity-warping. (AUDIO: Odyssey)
